Summer camp

The international holiday
that could last you a lifetime

Eerde Summer Camp is a unique experience for middle school and high school students interested in boosting their English skills while having fun and making new friends. Summer camp is open to students aged 12-19 from all over the world.

The academic part of the programme helps students rapidly improve all aspects of their English language skills: speaking, writing, listening and comprehension. Students are immersed in English throughout the camp, including the sports, outdoor, leisure and cultural activities. This combination of learning while having fun helps to consolidate knowledge and build students’ confidence along the way.

Get to know the IB and Cambridge philosophy

External students with a background in other educational programmes are very welcome to attend Eerde Summer Camp. Our aim is to give you a hands-on experience of Cambridge and IB learning. We offer tailored advice on how to develop your study skills and make improvements in specific focus areas.

Have fun in and out of the water

School holidays are never better than in the summer. Which is why the Eerde Summer Camp programme is packed with outdoor activities and excursions. Camping trips, barbeques and canoeing on the local Regge River are just some of the outdoor options. The museums of Amsterdam and Leiden are also on the programme plus a visit to the Afsluitdijk, the pride of Dutch dike constructions that has protected the country from the sea for over 85 years.

Professional care

Professional boarding parents take care of students living in Eerde’s cosy boarding house. They are dedicated to creating a happy and safe home and stimulating students to develop a sense of responsibility, independence and respect for one another. Like our Autumn, Winter and Spring vacation camps, Summer Camp is organized by Eerde’s experienced camp coordinator and professional teachers of international education.
