Equestrian program – Partner De Hazelhorst

The equestrian life at Eerde

Did you always dream about horseback riding competitively while studying for your secondary diploma? Fulfil this dream in the most beautiful part of the Netherlands!

Eerde International Boarding School and ‘De Hazelhorst Equestrian Center’ are both entrenched in excellence and high-level achievement.

Eerde International Boarding School is the oldest private international boarding school (founded in 1934) and the only international school to offer boarding from age 12 in the Netherlands.

While attending school and living on Eerde campus, riders get to train and nationally and internationally compete under the guidance of De Hazelhorst’ world class coaching staff.

Eerde is located on a beautiful and tranquil tree lined country estate in the Dutch province of Overijssel and offers Cambridge IGCSE and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP).

Hazelhorst’ stables are located just a few minutes away from Eerde Castle, which is also in highly concentrated showing area.

They offer training for national and international riders.

Fly in your own horse or use the stable's elite horses. Besides training, instructors will also teach how to care for, keep and manage riding competitively and while succeeding in school.
